10 Word Keyboard Shortcuts to Help You Work Faster

Discover these little-known Word keyboard shortcuts for yourself.

Instantly move to beginning of document

1. Press CTRL + HOME to move to top of the document

Quickly move to end of document

2. Press CTRL + END to move to end of the document

Instantly move to the left one word at a time

3. Position cursor to the left of the word and press CTRL +  Left arrow

Swiftly move to the right one word at a time

4. Position cursor to the right of the word and press CTRL + Right arrow

Quickly delete a word at a time to the right

5. Use CTRL + Left or Right arrow to position cursor and press CTRL + DELETE

No need to select each section of your document and change the font size for each section

Press CTRL + A to select entire document
7. Press CTRL + ] (close bracket) to increase all font sizes one point at a time.
Repeat as necessary.
